Night VFR Training

Fly And Train In The Dark

Do you want to build you night hours while getting paid? Our Night VFR Training Endorsement course will provide you with the skills to teach students how to safely fly at night. This is a valuable endorsement to further along your aviation career.

With a NVFR training approval, you are able to conduct flight training activities at night. It is greatly increasing the amount of time available to you to both instruct and build flight hours.

This course follows the CASA syllabus which includes 15 hours of ground theory training, as well as 10 hours of dual flight training.

Expand Your Flight Instructor Role

If you have a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and at least 20 hours of experience flying at night, then you are able to complete a NVFR training approval with Learn To Fly Melbourne.

For those that don’t already have their Flight Instructor Rating (FIR), we offer a package that includes basic Flight Instructor Rating (FIR) training prior to commencing the training syllabus.

Schedule a meeting with one of our aviation career specialists to discuss whether this is the right course for you.

“Being able to fly and teach at night is a huge advantage for building flight hours, plus flying over Melbourne city in the dark and seeing the beautiful lights is pretty amazing. LTF has a range of aircraft available for NVFR flying. The fleet is well maintained and the instructors are all passionate about delivering the best quality of teaching.” – Raymond He
