Future Cadet Pilot Program (FCPP)
The Future Cadet Pilot Program (FCPP) is a comprehensive Airline Interview Preparation course that will equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to go into your airline cadet pilot interview with the best possible chance of success. The Best Airline Interview Preparation
Airlines process of selecting a Cadet Pilot is comprehensive, rigorous and time consuming – often up to six months from beginning to end. This process ensures only the highest standard and professional candidates are selected as graduates. The selection process consists of interviews, computer aptitude tests, medical examinations, psychological tests and both written and spoken English tests. THEORY SESSION The Advanced Airline Interview Preparation Theory course is a perfect companion to our Airline Interview Coaching Session, exploring more advanced theory concepts over 9 modules to give you an even greater advantage in your preparation. Take your preparation and knowledge to the next level with leading Airline Interview Consultant and current Check and Training Captain Darren McPherson.
COACHING SESSION The Airline Interview Preparation Consultant and International Airline Training Captain - Darren McPherson will conduct this highly specialised session. He will teach you how to prepare your application. Most importantly, he will you through the recruitment process, along with the elements and phases of the interview.
Airlines are looking to make significant scale training investments and recruit future Captains, not just cadets. The extensive Airline Interview Preparation training offered by this particular course gives you a broad awareness of the entire aviation industry, alongside a wide range of analytical skills. Through this program, you'll develop a breadth and a depth of thinking, and also the ability to solve problems that are relevant to the aviation industry. Initial Psychometric Testing
Designed to screen applicants and look at key qualities that are desired for the role as a pilot, the psychometric test covers general personality, intelligence, numerical reasoning and eye hand coordination.
How We Can Help

- We will then thoroughly analyse your results with you, based on what airlines are looking for.
Initial Interview Screening (HR & Technical)
This interview assesses the candidate’s overall motivation towards the role as pilot and the airline specifically, as well as basic aviation technical knowledge.

Extended HR and Technical Interview
These interviews may be conducted by personnel from both the HR and Flight Operations department, and delve deeper into the candidate’s attitudes towards work, studies, life experiences, preparation and aviation knowledge.

- In a simulated mock interview environment, we will work through advanced airline-specific HR questions and response methods, and perfect interview presentation techniques.
- In a simulated mock interview environment, we will work through advanced airline-specific HR questions and response methods, and perfect interview presentation techniques.The technical session will outline effective levels required for the various airline entry points. This will help identify your current level of knowledge, and any areas that you should upskill prior to interview.



















Remote Psychometric Testing
This testing is conducted externally, prior to an invitation for further assessment. The psychometric test covers general personality, intelligence, numerical reasoning and eye hand coordination.

In this interview the candidate’s personal and career history are examined with particular emphasis on enthusiasm, and attitudes; whilst closely examining problem solving skills in theoretical yet dynamic situations.

Simulator Exercise & Training Aptitude and Assessment
The simulator exercise will allow the candidate to demonstrate flying skills. A number of selected training events are presented to assess the candidate’s aptitude as to their rate of learning and ability to process new tasks in the aircraft and training environment.

- We offer this part of the program in partnership with Flight Experience Melbourne and their state-of-the-art Boeing approved B737-800 flight simulator.
- Our highly qualified Flight Instructors will walk you through airline-specific simulator assessment profiles and assist with the techniques necessary to prepare you for this component of the interview process.
Psychological Assessment
This assessment is to correlate the written testing and interview assessments with that of a professional assessor in order to both validate the candidate and the process of one’s true character as opposed to an artificial or pre-rehearsed interview candidate.

Detailed Reference Check
The final step of the process is to conduct detailed reference checks with nominated referees to further validate an applicant’s performance and responses to previous interview components.

This closely assesses the candidate’s overall motivation towards the role and to the airline, as well as some technical knowledge. In particular, enthusiasm and general attitude are assessed through detailed and focused questions about their dedication to becoming a pilot.

Technical Knowledge Quiz
Candidates are required to sit a multichoice exam covering a range areas appropriate to the position including Air Law, instrument procedures, aerodynamics, systems, plus a range of CPL theory topics
