Program Overview

Build Your Instrument Experience
Are you an instructor looking to build your instrument hours?
Instrument Rating Training Endorsement is designed to give you the knowledge, skills and teaching capability to conduct flight training for the issue of an Instrument Rating training approval.
Adding Instrument Rating (IFR) training approval to your abilities will allow you to substantially build your IFR experience whilst instructing.
The course follows the CASA syllabus, it is designed to teach you how to conduct instrument training. Moreover, it includes both simulator and practical flight training.
Multiple Course Options
To be eligible to complete an Instrument Rating Training Approval, you must hold a CPL as well as a Instrument Rating. For pilots who don’t yet have their Flight Instructor Rating (FIR), Learn To Fly can offer this course in a combined Basic Flight Instructor Rating (FIR) package. We also offer single and multi-engine course options with a range of aircraft to choose from.
Schedule a meeting with one of our aviation career specialists to discuss whether this is the right course for you.

Our Graduate
Nick Harris
“The Instrument Rating Training Endorsement is a great course for Flight Instructors who are looking to gain more instrument flying time, by teaching students in IFR conditions. Learn To Fly’s highly realistic AL42 (Diamond DA42) flight sim allows you to train instrument approaches with the exact same cockpit layout as the actual aircraft.” – Nick Harris
