Australian licence. Convertible to DGCA
Are you ready to start your journey to becoming a professional pilot in India? In this course, you will progress through the standard Australian CASA Recreational Pilot Licence (RPL) and Private Pilot Licence (PPL) syllabus, before learning more advanced flight techniques and procedures. The CASA syllabus has been extended to incorporate Indian DGCA Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) requirements, and at the completion of the course, you will be qualified to start your pilot career in both Australia and India.
There is a range of exciting aviation career pathways available to you in India once you have obtained a DGCA Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL). Aside from working towards a career with a commercial airline, there are also opportunities in a range of industries including tourism, flight training, agriculture, and passenger transport. We will help to prepare you for your dream flying job! This extended CPL course has been designed specifically to meet Indian DGCA Commercial Pilot Licence requirements.
Before you start your flight training, first of all, you will have to apply for a DGCA Computer Number and finish 4 theory exams in India. The 4 theory exams include Air Navigation, Meteorology, Air Regulations and Technical General.
Once you've completed the theory exams, you can then apply for the student visa, it may take a few months to process. During this time, we can offer you the online theory, you can study in India and you can start early so it will save your time.
Once you've gained your student visa, you can then start your flight training with us. The flight training will be based on the Australian CASA syllabus and you will complete the Recreational Pilot Licence (RPL), Private Pilot Licence (PPL), Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), Multi-Engine and Multi-Engine Command Instrument Rating (MECIR) training. You will also go through additional training such as 5 solo hours at night etc to fulfil the DGCA requirements.
When you've completed the training, you can then go back to India and start your conversion process. You can arrange this yourself or it can be arranged by our partner school in India.
