Program Overview

Teach You To Fly For Fun
Whether you are training towards a possible career in aviation or looking to fly just for fun, a Recreational Pilot Certificate (RPC) should be one of your first goals. During RPC training, you will learn the fundamentals of how to fly and safely land an aircraft through practical flying lessons and ground-based theory lessons, before completing your first solo and the RPC flight test.
Reach Your Goal At A Lower Cost
The Recreational Pilot Certificate (RPC) is a cost-effective way for pilots to achieve their first certification. On completion of the program, you will be licenced to carry one passenger and fly RA-Aus registered aircraft within 25 nautical miles of your departure airport. Following completion, the RPC can be converted to a Recreational Pilot Licence (RPL).
Schedule a meeting with us to discuss your aviation goals and whether this is the best course for you.

Our Graduate
Leeanne Kaplan
” This course is full of firsts and the most memorable one for me would be either my first solo flight or passing my first flight test. Having an aircraft completely in my control is something a lot of 15 year-olds don’t have the privilege of, and doing it for the first time was an experience I won’t ever be forgetting. What I like most about training with Learn to Fly is that I feel like I’m in control of my own progress and that I’m not compared to other students.” – Leeanne Kaplan
